Brian A. Moore, Ph.D. is a health psychologist and an Assistant Professor of Psychology
at Kennesaw State University. Before joining Kennesaw State, he served over 10 years
in the United States Army as an Infantry officer and continues to serve as a Major
in the U.S. Army Reserve. Dr. Moore has a Ph.D. in military health psychology and
has completed pre- and post-doctoral fellowships in health and trauma psychology.

Israel Sanchez-Cardona is an Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University and has a Ph.D. in work and organizational psychology with training in occupational health psychology. As part of several funded projects, he has led initiatives to design organizational assessments and intervention programs to promote workers鈥 and organizational well-being and performance. His research focuses on how job resources (e.g., leadership) and personal resources (e.g., psychological capital) are linked to employees' work engagement, stress and burnout, resilience, and performance.

Elsa Sanchez is the Business Operations Specialist at the AMES Center. Elsa has over
20 years in Office Management. Her leadership includes implementing plans, policies
and procedures making sure that all operations run smoothly and align to quality standards
and goals.

Will Ownbey

Will Ownbey is a program coordinator at the AMES Research Center at Kennesaw State University who assists in applied research projects. Will is currently working towards his bachelor鈥檚 degree in kinesiology. Before joining KSU, he served in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry Marine on active duty from 2015 to 2019 and transitioned into the Marine Corps reserves until 2022.

Henry Brady

Henry 鈥淗ank鈥 Brady is a Research Assistant at the AMES Research Center at Kennesaw State University. He is a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of North Georgia and served 9 years in the Army as an Infantry and Military Intelligence Officer and later served as a Fellow in the Wounded Warrior Congressional Fellowship Program. Hank applies his military background to manage AMES military research projects.

Currently, Sophie is pursuing a degree in medicine, driven by her passion for integrating research with clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.

Sarah Lanham, MS, CSCS*D, is finishing her Exercise Physiology PhD candidacy (Fall 2025). She investigates occupationally relevant markers of fatigue and subsequent occupational performance impairments, reducing barriers to exercise, and enhancing training efficiency and safety as it relates to military service members, veterans, and emergency services personnel.
