SPCEET College Academy
The College Academy recognizes alums who have excelled in their careers and who have served as examples of success for our faculty, students, and staff. All are our highest level of ambassadors and exceptional representatives of the College.
SPCEET鈥檚 traditions are rooted in a 77-year history, from the original Southern Technical Institute to driving innovation as part of Kennesaw State University. We are Georgia鈥檚 second-largest engineering program with about 5,700 students across 17 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, contributing as a leading producer of Georgia鈥檚 engineering workforce. Our students benefit from learning alongside faculty and industry experts while gaining hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art laboratories. The research activity of our faculty is on an upward trajectory, bolstered by the hiring of many new world-class faculty in recent years.
SPCEET embodies KSU鈥檚 vision of creating a student-centered culture through an exceptional educational experience that is focused on their success. We prepare students for meaningful, productive careers through high-quality education and co-curricular activities, such as numerous student competition teams who routinely rank highly in national competitions.
