Holistic Support for Your Success

Academic Success Coaches provide personalized, one-on-one support to help you navigate your college journey. Coaches empower you to build confidence, set goals, and develop the skills needed to thrive throughout your college experience.

When meeting with a academic success coach, students have an opportunity to develop academic, social, financial, and personal goals to promote success both in and outside the classroom.

Drop-In Success Coaching

Students are welcome to participate in drop-in Success Coaching sessions (in-person or virtual) to connect with a Success Coach for quick questions or brief support.

Drop-in coaching is available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be scheduled in advance. To ensure you receive assistance, please arrive no later than 30 minutes before the posted daily end time. Have your student ID number ready at check-in.

    • Visit us on the Kennesaw Campus in University Hall, Suite 213.
    • Sign up for drop-in coaching at the front desk.
    • A Success Coach will call you back when it鈥檚 your turn. 
    • Call (470) 578-5389 or email ssp@kennesaw.edu, to request a virtual drop-in session and provide your KSU ID number.
    • A Success Coach will email you a Microsoft Teams link when they are ready to meet.
    • Be sure to have your KSU email open and ready to go鈥擮nce your email notification is sent, it's important to log in ASAP 

Schedule a Academic Success Coaching Appointment

  1. Click 鈥�Schedule Appointment鈥� in the top right corner.
  2. Under the type of appointment, select 鈥�Student Success Coaching.鈥�&苍产蝉辫;
  3. Select 鈥�Academic Success Coaching鈥� as the service.
  4. Select your date preference for the appointment (please note that student success coaching appointments must be scheduled 24 hours or more in advance).
  5. Select the meeting type preference for your appointment (in person, phone, or virtual).
  6. Finally, select the time that works best for you.
  7. Review and confirm your appointment details.
  8. You may choose to add additional comments for your Student Success Coach to review prior to your appointment.
  9. Opt-in to receive automatic reminders about your upcoming appointment. 

Once scheduled, you鈥檒l receive a confirmation email sent to your KSU student email account.

    Sessions are personalized, and you鈥檒l typically work with the same coach throughout your college years. There鈥檚 no limit to how many appointments you can schedule each year!

  • Meeting with a Academic Success Coaches holds you accountable and will help you develop key skills like time management and problem-solving. Student Success Coaches empower you to succeed at KSU and in your future. With no limits on the number of sessions, you'll have continuous support tailored to your unique needs throughout your college journey.
